Born in Hannover, Germany, Boris grew up and went to school in Germany, Portugal and the United States. He studied international Business Administration in Germany (WHU), France (ESC Lyon) and the United Kingdom (London Business School) – holding a double degree in Business Administration from WHU and ESC-Lyon.

Boris started his professional career at the European School for Management and Technology (ESMT), where he was head of Marketing-, Strategy- and General Management Programs working for international clients such as 3M, Deutsche Telekom or RWE. After four years in executive development he founded his own training and design and consulting business, mainly working for clients in the financial services sector. After two years as free-lance consultant, he joined his former client Deutsche Bank as Marketing Manager for Deutsche Bank’s online broking activities.

In 2002, he changed from Marketing and Sales into the Human Resources function, first as European Talent Manager at Ecolab and METRO Group, than as Head of Human Resources for Nobel Biocare Germany and Ecolab Germany. In 2009, Boris was promoted to Managing Director of Ecolab Germany, leading an organization of 1.500 associates across Germany.

Throughout his more than 15 years of line-management experience, Boris has lead projects, teams and organizations across cultures and geographies both from a headquarter as well as from a local perspective.

Boris holds a certificate in coaching from DGFP with additional qualifications in Change-Coaching and Performance-Coaching. In 2015 he completed a two year curriculum in systemic coaching at isb. He is MBTI, CPI, and FIRO-B certified by the British Psychological Society, and he is qualified to use a wide range of assessment and development instruments, such as OPQ (SHL), Voices (Lominger) and 16PF. He is a qualified sales trainer and multi-lingual in English, German, French and Portuguese

Since 2003 Boris has taken on numerous coaching and development projects across the globe. His key areas of interest lie in the areas of Leadership Development, Coaching and Organizational Design.
