Senior Consultant / Executive Coach
Born in Duesseldorf, Thomas grew up in Germany and moved to Italy (Sardinia) for his military service at the international NATO site. He studied economics and holds an honors-degree from the University of Bonn where he worked as a research associate at the Marketing chair and lecturer both at University of Bonn and European School of Management and Technology, ESMT.
Thomas looks back at more than 15 years of Marketing, Sales and General Managementexperience in different roles in the cosmetics industry. He started off as a Sales Manager, then changed into an Export position working with business partners from a wide variety of cultural and national backgrounds. As Marketing Director, Thomas managed an international portfolio of successful fragrance brands – leading a team of 20 Marketing and Communications professionals. As Director New Business Development, Thomas has acted as a global trend-scout, identifying trendy fashion and design labels to be developed into exclusive perfume brands. As CEO of an international fragrance company, he brought a cross-functional perspective to any corporate challenge.
In January 2017, Thomas assumed an active role as Senior Consultant and Executive Coach in the Herrliche Aussichten network.
Thomas has extensive expertise in designing and implementing international marketing and sales strategies and leading global brands and organizations. Besides his line management jobs, Thomas has been active as trainer and facilitator – making him a sought-after lecturer, coach and key-note speaker.
